This blog, Fairy Fandom is dedicated to all lovers of fairies and mythical beings! My aim is to create content related to a fantasy world featured in my novel series, Crime or Crown.
It will provide information on the background, lore and characters from the Crime or Crown saga.
In this fantasy world, the beings that came to be known as fairies are more human-like than the more common depictions of fairies where they are small winged creatures with a heavy emphasis on magic.
The fairies in our story are quite different to this. Externally, they are like humans in most respects. But they are superior beings and their home is not to be found on Earth. They reside in what is commonly referred to as simply, ‘The Higher World.’
With so many characters in Crime or Crown, this site will also give readers insights into the lives of many individual fairies and other fantasy characters that will not be fully covered in the book.
If you also want to know more about the different locations in the fairy realm, this site will be your ‘go to’ for that as well.
There are different realms featured in the book that are all part of the higher world and they each have their own properties and types of fairies. One of the most renowned realm for example, is Alphiabrook where the High Family traces its lineage.
You can also use this site for a resource centre for information on all the powers that different fairies, witches and wizards have been known to use within this fantasy world. There are also ranks and rank can determine how much and which kinds of power can be wielded by any individual fairy or other being of power.

This site will always have something about fairies and other related creatures for you to get happily absorbed in.
Whether you want to read about more of the back story of the Crime or Crow series, the places of the higher world, or characters that aren’t even featured in the main story, this site will not disappoint.
